DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi there blog friends!!!

Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!

It's my turn to challenge my design team Rock Stars and you with a DCC at The House That Stamps Built and that challenge is to put a kitty cat on your card.

I'm not sure how many of you know this, but Wendy (designer/owner of Repeat Impressions Stamps) is a cat lover!  (that's an understatement).  Have you seen her Repeat Impressions collection of cat stamps?   Take a peak and there's more ! See...told ya!

My Rock Star team mates hope you'll play along with us.  Just post your kitty cat creation on your blog or online photo gallery and link it up at The House.  You'll then be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate worth $25.00.  (think of how many RI kitty cat stamps you can add to your collection!)  You don't have to use an RI stamp on your creation, but if you do, you'll be entered in the drawing TWICE.  So come play along with us.

To get your started, here is my card

This image reminded me so much of my cat Bobbi (her photo is on my right sidebar).  And if there ever was a sentiment that described her, the one I used here says it perfectly.  The RI image is #8219-P "Oliver" and the sentiment is #7015-G "All I ask".
I sponged the image with DI and colored the eyes with Copic Markers and then used some Glossy Accents for the extra dimension.

Take a few minutes and check out the other Rock Stars for more inspiration and then join myHere, Kitty, Kitty, Kitty" challenge.

CAS Challenge at Outlawz

Hello blog friends!!!

I'm hosting the CAS challenge over at Outlawz this week and I sure would love it if you came over and played along.  The challenge is "Seascape".   Here's my challenge

The first time I ever saw the Atlantic Ocean in winter was 14 years ago when I first moved to Maine.  I was familiar with what it looked like in the summer, yet, I'd never seen it in the winter and thought it a beautiful and spectacular sight.  My challenge for you this week, is to create a CAS seascape - any season.  It could be shells, sand, panorama, ocean, colors, seagrass, beach....you get the idea.  Show us what "seascape" means to you in a CAS style.

Please take a second and check out the fabulous creations of the CAS Design Team, you will be so inspired.

Here's the card I created

I CASE'd my card from one Theresa Momber created with her stamp set "By the Sea 2" a while back.  HERE is Theresa's card.  Theresa was so kind and gifted me this set and I LOVE it!  Thanks so much, Theresa Momber.

My card is one layer that was stamped and sponged.  I used Copic Markers to color the shell.  So easy and so simple.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with the CAS challenge at Outlawz!
