WHAT A HAUL!

Hi blog friends!

Did any of you hop along with the Memorial Day Blog Hop with Operation Write Home?  If you did, you saw some outstanding cards, there were over 130 blogs to visit and tons of inspiration and it was all for an outstanding cause...to send some thank you cards to our service men and women.

As you hopped along the blogs there were some companies as well as some individuals giving fun crafting items away to hoppers who left comments on their blogs, the winners were all picked randomly and it must have been my lucky day because I won THREE awesome prizes.

Here's the loot!

From Simon Says Stamps.....I won the June 2013 Card Kit designed by Kelly Purkey.  This is an incredible box of goodies with stamps, embellishments and awesome papers.

From Hero Arts....I won all three stamp sets they created for Operation Write Home and sell only at Hobby Lobby.  Since we don't have a Hobby Lobby stores anywhere near here, this was another fabulous win.

From Annette Hindes one of the extremely talented bloggers on the hop....I won one yard each of those fabulous red and black twill ribbons you see in the photo.  They are sensational ribbons and I can't wait to use them on some projects for Operation Write Home.

So, there it is....I felt like I won Power Ball....may not win another thing for the rest of my life, but I sure did win some awesome items (in this crafters world) at the OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop this year.

Happy day everyone!!

WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hey there, blog friends!

It's sketch challenge time at The House That Stamps Built and Repeat Impressions and once again Wendy has created a super fun sketch for us to create with!

Looky here.....

Isn't this a fun sketch?  When I saw it, I instantly thought to use the motorcycle stamp from Big Boys Toys #9120 "Harley.  It just looked "masculine" to me.

The other stamp (from this same set) that I used is the sentiment stammp  #9115-G.

We hope you'll join the What If? Wednesday challenge.  You could win some fabulous RI stamps if you do and if you use an RI stamp on your entry, you'll be entered in the challenge twice.

Visit my RI Teamies for even more inspiration

STAMP OF THE WEEK AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hi blog friends....

The House That Stamps Built blog and Repeat Impressions stamps are featuring another stamp at 50% off the retail price this week.  If you've been here before, you know this happens every week at Repeat Impressions.  It's a super economical way to add some truly incredible stamps to your collection.

This week the stamp being featured is the exquisite #111-O "Wedding/Anniversary Border".  I can't begin to tell you how gorgeous this stamp is or the fine detail in it.  You will find many ways to use this stamp.

Here's a card I made using this stunnign stamp

The image was stamped with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with white ep.  I used my Viva Pearl Pen in "Frost White" to add some pearls around the border and the bells and rings were "colored" with a Sukura gel pen which gives it some shimmer (sorry you can't see it in the photo).  The bg ef is a Sizzix folder.  Paper is from Gina K Designs Pure Luxury line.  The sentiment is RI #1144-D.

Please visit the blogs of my Rock Star B-Team Teamies and see their fabulous creations

I'm on a blue and white kick lately....not sure why, but I'm about over it.

Thanks for stopping by - have a great week!
