DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

It's a Designer's Choice Challenge at Repeat Impressions and The House That Stamps Built and it's Deonna's turn to challenge us. She's challenging us to a shape card - not a rectangle or square card.  It's a fun one and I hope you'll join all the Rock Stars as we take on Deonna's challenge.

Check out all the inspiration cards from the Rock Stars at The House That Stamps Built.

My card was made using a Spellbinders flower pot die to frame the sweet RI Stamp #4316-I "Flowering Hearts" and #422-G "Hugs & Kisses"

Play along with Deonna's Shaped Card challenge and enter it at The House That Stamps Built.  You'll be entered to win some fabulous RI stamps. Have fun and good luck!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

STAMPTV CSS SPRING HAS SPRUNG BLOG HOP CHALLENGE

Hi blog friends!!!!

Woohooo....spring is springing (finally)!!!  The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing and the sun is shinning.....it lifts the soul and makes you feel so good, doesn't it?

The StampTV CSS group has planned a "spring has sprung blog hop challenge" Here's the challenge:

Create a card or project that celebrates spring and use sets with the release dates of October 2012 - March 2013.

If you've come here  from the sensationally talented Brenda's blog, you've seen her outstanding card for this challenge.  If you didn't you'll want to head on over to the beginning of the hop and see each and every gorgeous creation from this talented group.

I'm celebrating spring with a card I made for my mother for Mother's Day, using Melanie Muenchinger's Stately Flowers 6 stamp set.  My mother's birthday is in June and the Rose is her birthflower.  I love how this turned out.  My mother will be 88 years old in June, she now has Alzheimer's Disease so I made this card to celebrate Mother's Day, her birthday and the moments, over the years, we've shared together as dear friends.

The technique I used to create the water color rose effect I picked up from Jennifer McGuire.  The papers are from a fabulous 6X6 pad called "Memories" by Teresa Collins.

Your next hop stop is over at Brenda's FABULOUS Mom, Geri's blog and what she has created for this hop.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!
