This is a late addition to this post but it's a message from Gina K:  leave a comment on each of the blogs and I am going to randomly choose a winner who will get to choose ANY past StampTV stamp set of their very own! I will announce the winner on Tuesday morning.

I absolutely LOVE each one of my StampTV kits and I had a very difficult time deciding which of those I would choose to showcase.  However, the most recent set "Springtime Silhouettes" won out.  I love the vintage feel about this set as well as their eclectic nature.

My first card is a CAS birthday card using the gorgeous lace butterfly.  I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment in  Vivid "Tea Rose" Ink.  I used Prima roses and a Sizzix ef for detail and texture.

My second card is using the awesome high heels from this set.  I love these heels.  They were stamped with Vivid "Raspberry" ink.  I also used Nina Bracket's Lovely Labels 2 and stamped it using Memento "Bamboo Leaves".  The DP is Kaisercraft "Chanteuse Collection"

My final card  is a recreation of a memory...I just love the dress form on this stamp set and I remember seeing something like it in my Gt. Grandmother's bedroom.  In my memory, her room had the wonderful smell of lavender and roses and there was a diffused soft lavender light that came from sun shinning through a bluish shade that she used on her window.  She always seemed to be wearing dark blue and pearls which, to me, were so beautiful.  The dress form in this set brought back that snapshot memory.

CS GKD Pure Luxury "In the Navy", "Lovely Lavender" and "Ocean Mist".  DP is Basic Grey "Olivia".  I made the rose with satin ribbon.  The "tickets" and "Flourish" were made with my Tim Holtz dies and I stamped the sentiment from a stamp with the GKD "Fanciful Tags".  MS punch finished it off with some pearls.

Thank you, so very much, for stopping by and I appreciate and treasure your comments.
Now, please head on over to the extremely talented Carolina's blog she always has a fabulous project to show us.

A Little Bubble Gum Pink and Lemon Drop Treat

Hi blog friends!
Over at StampTV there's a color challenge going on using Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Card Stock paper colors
These colors just explode in springtime and they are such a pick-me-up after a long, grey, cold, winter in Maine and what fun it is to make cards using these colors!
Here is a card I made for this springtime color challenge.

The details:  GKD Pure Luxury White, Bubble Gum Pink, and Lemon Drop.  Stamps set:  "Warm With Love" by Theresa Momber.  The iris is stamped and colored with Copics and then stamped again and cut out, again colored with a softer group of Copics and popped on with dimensionals.  Nestabilitie Labels Ten.  Sizzix Brick Wall EF inked with Vivid "Tea Rose" ink and CuttleBug EF "Swiss Dots".  Basic Grey dp "Lemonade".   I used Distress Inks "Mustard Seed" to softly sponge around the iris.

This will be my mother's, Mother's Day card and the sentiment will be on the inside.  My mother is in a care facility for Alzheimer's patients and she has always loved flowers, especially, iris.  When I saw this stamp set by Theresa Momber, I knew I had to use it to make her Mother's Day card.  I love the way the color challenge worked with this stamp.

Thanks for stopping by.

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #52

There's an Anniversary to celebrate over at Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge blog.  Here's Vicki's challenge:

This week is my week for the Speedy Challenge.  I can not believe we have been running this challenge for a year!  I don't know about you, but WOW - where did that year go???  Sheez.  Okay, appropriately, my challenge is anAnniversary Card.  Easy peasy -- we haven't had easy for a while.  Pass the word, there will be a winner of one of next month's stamp sets. You may use ANY stamps you like, however, if you use MFP stamps you are entered twice in the random drawing.

How fun to help celebrate a year with a great blog.

Here's my card for Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #52 - Happy Anniversary Speedy!

Details:  CS Gina K Pure Luxury White and Good as Gold.  Stamps set is Speedy the Cat's  "Happy Pansies".  I embossed them with Ranger "Queens Gold" EP.  Spellbinder Labels #15 and #16 were also used.

Obviously, it's not Speedy the Cat's Golden Anniversary, but for a lovely couple I know, it is, so I will give them this card in celebration of 50 years of marriage.
It's difficult to get a good photo using metallic ink and paper, but I managed to get this one without a blast of light reflecting.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic week!
